Last February, I was watching a "satelite news" report on TV about "global warming".
The report was about a UN conference of leading scientists from around the world,all gathered to discuss the problem of "Global Warming".
They discussed the danger to the planet,the planet's temperature,the importance of the accuracy of their calculations,a point of no return,when GW would become irreversible.
One of them stood up and said that the current level of temperature rise was "2 Degrees".
I was watching "Voyage to the Bottom Of the Sea" on American Movie Classics.
Hillarious!
The icecaps were melting and flooding low-lying areas.
They had until Aug 29,to save the planet.
I saw a similar scenario in these global warming documentaries on National Geographic Channel and The History Channel and the 1993,made for TV movie,"the Fire Next Time".
Then, about the time that the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" came out,I saw that SAME contradictary scenario on THC,"Global Cooling".
In the movie,"Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" there is a line from "Dr.Hiller";
"A convenient rationalization..."
Al Gore must hate her a lot to twist her words around over 40 years later.
Here's another one of her lines,Al Gore;
"Our leading scientists have proven you wrong!"
Sorry,Sen. McCain, "Global Warming" IS a Hollywood fabrication.

LOL I was watching that also! Good old Gordo just found a rant that he could make millions off of. Too bad he does,t take all that money and start insulating homes, upgrading appliances (energy star) and start with his own hom first.
