I wrote to Obama's White House twice in the past two months, both times requesting a reply, and never once got one.
My situation is, I have Asperger's syndrome, Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, dysthymia, and other mental health problems. I also have a brain tumor (most likely astrocytoma). I'm trying to apply for SSI but the Social Security Administration messed up my case and now I need to see an administrative judge. I appealed first to Senators Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio, and only Bill Nelson answered and told me nothing could be done after looking into my case. So I wrote to Obama since his picture is on the wall of the Social Security office. Well, I did that twice and no answer, and I swore if I didn't get a response in two weeks finally, I would change my political party from Democrat to something else. So now it's been two weeks, and it's time for me to change. I'm thoroughly disgusted with Barak Obama and can't see myself voting for him, and I may not vote for another Democrat in my whole life (however short or long that may be). I've never felt so let down by America, I feel cut off like nobody gives a crap. I'm angry as hell as afraid, I wanted to move out before I turned 36 to live a bit on my own in case I do have the astrocytoma, because its not operable... I may have only a few years to live before I need chemotherapy and radiation. I'm posting this to let everybody know what Barak Obama failed to do, and why he's lost my vote.
Sorry to hear about all of the issues you are dealing with. Perhaps you might want to contact your district's Representative ... you might have better luck getting a response. Also search for a social worker in your area that might be able to help, as well as an attorney specilizing is Social Security issues.
As for your health issues, I can't give you medical advice, but I can tell you what I would do if I were in your shoes.
Asperger's is an autism spectrum disorder which may be genetic or could be the results of heavy metal toxicity. Given that a healthy immune system is the best weapon against all disease and maladies, I'd find and consult an alternative medicine/energy medicine practitioner to complement whatever mainstream medical assistance you are receiving. Sometimes they can actually do more for you than the allopathics.
Oh yes... and for all of the less than compassionate responses .... sometimes people in desperate situations just need kind words of encouragement. And how much would it have cost you all to do that, instead of the crap you posted? Nothing at all.

If he had come on and just asked for advice instead of turning it into a slame against the democrat party and the POTUS, then maybe people would have given him words of encouragement and good advice.

No matter how you slice it, GOING HOME is NOT a vacation, no more than members of Congress are on vacation when they go back to their home state..
And when you are at Camp David, you normally have heads of states there, and you go there for MEETINGS... Again, NOT A VACATION

Most people have to apply for SSI three times before they get accepted and that can often take a couple of years. Instead of wasting your time writing to politicians you should be finding yourself a disability lawyer. Your resentment of Obama over this is totally misplaced and unfair. Call your local 211 and see it your city has an advocate for the disabled group that can steer you in the right direction. It's going to take time to get SSI---as it should be to weed out those who want to game the system. Get used to it and stay on track where it counts. Writing the White House and getting angry you're not getting a reply was counterproductive to your goal. However, if you have to see an administrative judge, I suspect that your case is still up for consideration but you just don't like the waiting for your case to come up and/or the determination of lower level administrators at SSI.

What "buisness" - buisness in America is an utter failure - so much for that idea. Foreign relations? What foreign policy? All Obama has are problems in that area...oh yes the economy...does not look like he is having much luck in that area either - I would say that he has lots of time on his hands to answer a letter - or at least have someone write back - After all he is a pubic servant and if the master (citizen) sends the servant a letter that servant had better write back - but it seems that modern politicans have forgotten the principle of service..They think that once they are elected - they own the populace_ when in fact the populace owns them.
