That reminds me of what a supposedly conservative judge in a small west Texas town said the other day about raising the outrageous property tax rate in an already dying town; "it only amounts to a hamburger and fries each week." I suppose if I had the salary of a Texas County Judge in a town where $30,000 is a livable salary, I would see it as a small tax increase myself.

You do realize that the middle and lower class Americans end up paying for tax increases on the wealthy?

A lot of nuss have demand, mine included. People are not hiring because they are unsure about the future and chose to work a little harder and pay a little mre ot. Get rid of that scam called obamaare and let people know where taxes are going to be at. Uncertanty breeds stagnation.

America will get out of this hole. We always have. Young Americans will be okay I suppose. Not sure I will make it to the other side but that's life.

Wealthy say cut our taxes or we will raise your prices? Is that what you are trying to say? If so, boy have you been thoroughly duped.

We just let our seasonal temps all go. I thought we'd keep them until Christmas but sales aren't what they want them to be.
No word on our Christmas party yet, so we may have to start planning a pot luck or something.

Uhhh... Sometimes there is a new invention that no one knew they demanded. They don't demand it until it was funded and created by the inventor and the venture capitalist.

Well let's see.

The GOP held control of congress most of the time during Clinton and things were pretty good. The democrats took control with the 2006 elections and everything tanked.

And if you're trying to tell me a business will happily absorb additional taxes without passing them on to their consumers, you are too immature to understand an explanation.

You are indeed a nasty little person aren't you?

My understanding is that the tax increases are for personal income--not your corporate taxes. We need to change the tax structure for small businesses that get stuck paying at the personal rate--that's a given--but you don't find too many of them where the owner is paying himself more than a million a year.
