Just out of curiousity - those of you giving your opinion on whether or not the surge is working - are any of you currently in Iraq seeing this first hand?

Gathering of the eagles... probably a bunch of non military/ex military who never saw any real action, if they even wore a uniform.

The USA has the world's strongest military. Yet the USA can not get things under control in Iraq? So would someone please explain to me how a group like the Gathering of Eagles support the Iraq war. If we lack the resolve to send in enough troops and military equipment over there, then let's get out of there NOW!

You don't actually believe that do you?? if so, you're WAY wrong..
The majority of Americans agree with the Democratic party and the left on the fact that Iraq is a failed policy and a disaster.

That's a fact if you even paid attention remotely at all for a while now.

There is a difference between disagreeing with current policy and agreeing with Democrats.

I wonder if the "Gathering of Eagles" will allow proud American anti-war protesters?

What is more grievous, that there are still many true believers actively supporting a continuation of this war or a Democratic party and calls it a failed policy and a disaster yet continue to fund it?
