Ha! this leaves out the part where the repubs want to tack on other stuff to the bill. How convenient to leave that out.

You mean "Obama will not agree to increasing taxes for the rich"; correct? Because at, this point, repealing the Bush tax cuts would amount to a tax increase.

The Republicans have come up with a way to at least partially pay for this. I thought compromise was the way to get things done... I guess the definition of "compromise" has now been changed to mean that one side gives in a little and the other side never gives in at all.

Huh? Come to an agreement on a budget? Harry Reid refuses to allow a vote on a budget. Speaking of epic fails.
