If you looked online or in the newspapers today the British media picked up a story which should strike black and ethnic minorities as strange regarding research by Professor David Coleman, of Oxford University who said that whites would become a minority by 2066 in their own country because of immigration and the migration of thousands of white Britons abroad. The British media always boasts that Britain is a multicultural society and tolerant, so why the obsession with keeping Britain white? Why is this even a news story
I think the problem is Britain suffers from immigrant overload. Maybe if there were lower levels of immigration there would be less uneasiness among white British.

The better question is why are American Conservatives so obsessed with what the Brits are doing in matters of race, or anything else? What's their stake in it?

I think the problem is Britain suffers from immigrant overload. Maybe if there were lower levels of immigration there would be less uneasiness among white British.
Unlike the US which was founded on conquest and immigration, Briain is a nation of people who, more or less, are native to the land, have been there for, in many cases, thousands of years. So it is not a "nation of immigrants," like America and therefore does not have this tradition of immigration that some use to advance their open-borders agenda. As a nation of natives, and simply as a sovereign nation in general, Britain has every right to protect its native culture and doesn't even have to allow immigrants into it, if it wasn't for economics. Immigration into any nation, even one like the US, is a privilege, not a right, and that privilege can be revoked for any reason and without apology, so instead of lowering the levels of immigration to it, it has every right to stop immigration completely.
And how come no one chastizes Native Americans for trying to protect their culture and bloodline by not allowing people to claim its heritage unless they can prove it by DNA and some cultural connection? Try immigrating to the Navajo reservation and see what happens. It seems to me that some people use double-standards when it comes to the issue of cultural protection, that first world Western nations are held to a different standard than others. Mexicans can protect and propogate their culture, Native American, too, even African-Americans (some even wear shirts saying, "Black Pride"). But God forbid any white person or white, Anglo nation ever try it, why that is just racism and white separatism!! What happened to fairness and equality?
And why is immigration so sacred anyways? Why not stay put and try to make life better in your own native land? We don't have to allow you entry into our nations, just like Canada or wherever doesn't have to allow me to immigrate to it, that is not a sacred right, you're not that special.. Get over yourselves.

The Muslims there are showing they are mostly radical as their numbers have rose.
So as rapes of non-Muslim women rise, as areas become off limits to non-Muslims and as Muslim neighbors burn areas and cause crime throughout Britain they want to stop more Muslims from spreading throughout Britain like a cancer.

Whether it be the Normans who came in with William 1st, the Vikings, the Huguenots, eastern European jews in the 19th century, massive Irish immigration, Italians in the 1930s, Poles during the war who mostly stayed or Commonwealth immigrants since the war.
Main problem with this kind of thread is that many Americans have a poor grasp of British social history.
I think this article is just stating that white people specifically of British ancestries will be a minority by 2066. This article isn't pointing out that a large amount of the minority growth in the past decade was due to white, Eastern European immigrants. So by 2066 White British folks might no longer be a majority, but white people in general probably won't be.
Also, how can they predict what any country will look like in 50 years? So many different things could happen to change their predictions.

You are simply wrong. There has been consistent immigration into Britain since time immemorial just as there has been consistent emigration. I gave examples which are not just 19th century. There are plenty more examples if you care to look. For example, the religious wars of the 16th and 17th centuries were a great driver of immigration.
