This is not a very complicated concept buddy. We don't revert to technical terms that aren't even applicable in a modern context in order to prove a point. If you want to rebut the points made earlier, don't run to the dictionary. That was transparent as hell.
I doubt that since classical liberals are conservatives.
Some conservatives identify as classically liberal. However, social conservatism has completely dominated in the United States.
One basic foundational aspect of classical liberalism is opposition to direct democracy, and yet I can't count the amount of times I've seen conservatives on this forum whine that gays and activist judges are trumping the "Will of the people", and they claim majority rules in this country.
