There wouldn't be anything wrong if they included all religions like they claim to be against. They could also pick another day to demonstrate,like Ramadan might be good!!
Why? Christians target non-believers all the time. I've never seen a sign trying to call to Jews to convert.
I'm against anyone calling it a holiday tree, whether they be right wing or left wing. IT'S A CHRISTMAS TREE! I'm against changeing thing's that, by most people, are supported, such as when Franklin D. Rossavelt tried to change Thanksgiving day from the last thursday of November to the second-to-last Thursday of the month, just because the retailers asked him to. It may not be the same thing, but it's the same principal.
So you want everyone else to conform to YOUR beliefs? That IS what you are saying here. That since you call it a Christmas Tree, that everyone else should do so as well. If I call it my Holiday Evergreen, I'm wrong, because only your opinion is valid.
So what? How it is any different than a presumptuous and rude evangelical assuming that I NEED saving?
How is it any different than the anti-atheist rants and billboards that some Christians employ?
I'm not an atheist, and I get offended by preachy, presumptuous religious expression all the time. Should that mean I get to have the state ban it?
