Hes right. Democrats at least want to raise taxes to pay for their spending.
Republicans want to lower taxes, and increase spending. Now they'll tell you they want to cut spending, but just look at the bills they've signed in the last 4 years. Spend, Spend, Spend.
Are they going to blame President Obama? What makes them any different then him blaming Bush?
How can we look at the bills the House has sent to the Senate in the past 10 months when they just get there, get stacked in a pile and declared DOA by Dirty Harry.
Coburn is no RINO. Even the most conservative members can't say that he is on the left on anything. The difference between he and other Republican's is that he is honest in his beliefs. He does not say things to just get elected. I doubt that Oklahoma will kick him out. They love him there.
Oh, I know he's not a RINO, but for him to actually say this about his liberal colleagues (ie, something positive) takes a lot of guts, since the congressional Republicans are...shall we say...not friendly toward those who deviate from party orthodoxy. He himself is not a RINO, but I'll bet he'll be treated as one. You and I both have seen how that works in the GOP.

So just what do Republicans think about defense cuts? Although some Tea Party-affiliated groups have taken a more tolerant attitude toward cuts in defense spending, they remain deeply unpopular with Republican-identified voters. A recent CNN poll found that just 29 percent of Republican voters would favor defense cuts as part of a debt ceiling deal. (Independent and Democratic voters differ: 50 and 56 percent of them favor defense cuts, respectively.)
And on top of that, Republicans don't want cuts to medicare or social security.
So they have taken 90% of the federal budget off the table. We can't cut all of the remaining 10%, even a majority of it.
But don't raise my taxes!!!
Spending has increased, hell Republicans were writing spending bills, spending money from future savings of the affordable care act, which they say won't save money, and they want to repeal!!!

They are all hypocrites, all of them.
Well at least Coburn is being intellectually honest.
Right. Another hack and paste edit job from stink progress, the mouthpiece for the democrat party.
Do you get tired of hating everyone and everything?
