He's white (shocking considering he is a quarterback) a Christian, an outspoken Christian in fact. Could it be that he is the quarter back of the New Orleans Saints and led my formerly hapless team to a Super Bowl victory, not to mention being one of the finest passers in the NFL?
I guess I would be considered a Liberal and a Christian and I hate Drew Brees

Another idiot liberal who knows nothing about sports. The majority of the quarterbacks in the NFL are white, so why is that shocking? How about people like him because he's a good QB, and he donated a lot of his own money and time doing charitable work to help the city of New Orleans after Katrina. I don't see why you had to bring his race for religion into this.

But you said yourself the reason why people love Drew Brees, he led the Aints to Super Bowl victory.
He's a great QB. It'd be too bad though if he leaves New Orleans.
I'm a major fan of the Saints' rival the Carolina Panthers and I think there is no QB I have more respect for than Drew Brees. Brees has done nothing but conduct himself with class and has done all he can to get the team around him recognized in his success. He also has had to deal with a unique situation where he has had to take a whole hurting city on his shoulders and has done very well with his charity work in NOLA. And he came from a place where he was down and out early in his career.
Also, I like the fact that he talks more with his life about his Christianity than his mouth like Tebow.
I'm not a liberal but I like Brees. Oh yeah, he made me some money in my fantasy football championship last night.
a. He has won a Super Bowl. Marino did not.
b. He has many of the QB passing records - including overtaking Marino last night for the yards in a season.
Yeah, you're probably right.
