Nice - namecalling. I know, it's all the libs have.

I have a question for you - would you be willing to support a civil union that has every right afforded to a married couple? Or MUST it be called marriage?

ringwise, if you'd be so kind to address the following...

They mean that gays can marry people of the opposite sex, "just like heterosexuals can!" which is just plain ignorant. Basically, they want heterosexuals to be able to marry whoever they're attracted to (so long as they're of legal age to consent, unrelated, and unmarried) but not let homosexuals marry who they're attracted to (even if they're of legal age to consent, unrelated, and unmarried).

Reasons?

They THINK the bible tells them to keep gays (and only gays) from being allowed to marry, or justifies this blatant prejudice.
They THINK homosexuality is harmful in some way, though the evidence seems to contradict that, especially in regards to gay parenting.
And they THINK homosexuality is nothing more than lust, even though gays have shown that they are just as likely as (if not MORE likely than) heterosexuals of making a marriage last.

Basically, any sort of false/unverifiable claim they can provide, or protections of general legal freedoms they can hide behind such as "freedom of religious belief" or "freedom of speech"; that's what they think justifies discriminating against homosexuals.

Eating is not gluttony.

It is funny, but not surprising, to see these exaggerations though.

Didn't the US try the "separate but equal" thing already? Why should we do it again?

Would you be willing to let gays get married and straights only have civil unions? Goose and gander, right?

But the more you order, the more support you can give on Chick-fil-Away The Gay Day!

Which is stupid, stupid argument against homosexual marriage.

NO special rights are being asked for.

After homosexual marriage is legalized (which is an inevitability), everyone will still remain equal.

If you're about to tell us that eating Chick-Fil-A is the exception to the rule "Fast food is fattening", I will officially have reason to lose faith in all humanity.

Could this be true? I'm not sure that I'd want to accept their food if I were them. They'd probably use spoiled chicken and stale waffle fries to give to the gays.

I wonder if the Cathys know about this?
Do you understand the concept of a franchise ?
