Not really, it just shows there's a lot of intolerance still left. But that's no surprise, we just ended legal prosecution of gays 9 years ago, and are just getting to the point were equal marriage rights are starting to be enacted. It's a very 50/50 country on the issue right now, which means a lot of people on both sides. It's clear that intolerance is diminishing though, and will continue to moving forward.

I am gay and know a lot of gay people. I don't know anyone that engages in public sex acts.
I'm sure you could agree that I could post a link to some heterosexuals that have molested school children. Would it then be logical for me to conclude that "heterosexuals have made our schools unsafe for our children"? No, that would be absurd, and your conclusion is as well.
