Ahhh... now we have something we can agree on.

Government should not be involved at all. Marriage should be a religious event.

For anyone who may have 'overslept' .. The CFO who is now looking for a new job was the creep who made an @hole of himself (not to mention his 'former' company) at Chick-Fil-A yesterday!

How does it redefine marriage between a man and a woman? Will a gay couple marrying set off a letter from your clergy and City Hall that your marriage is null and void? Will a hetero couple's sex life suffer because the gay couple next door is getting it on? Will honeymoons of hetero couples be cancelled without a refund from Sandals? Will hetero couples no longer be welcome at family gatherings and social events? Will they be rendered infertile? Seriously...how??? The premise is beyond stupid and ignorant.

If heterosexual marriage is the cornerstone of our society, we've already failed.

And everyone isn't Christian. The sooner people realize that, the better off we will all be.

Church and state are separate for a reason.

Two wrongs do not make a right and yes divorce has been an evil that breaks up families and lives, now we should add another problem to marriages? Don't think so.

Actually, the state has a huge interest in marriages that stay together and are healthy. For the children and future stability of the state. It's like you want people to own homes instead of renting them. Then the owners will take care of those homes. States should discourage divorce---no fault divorce has hurt many families----and traditional (one man, one woman) marriages. No one needs to be Christian to understand that.

[quote=coped;25458386]That sums it up perfectly.

I don't think Jesus told us to be man with man and woman with woman too?

On the other hand, if Jesus could have used a pressure fryer on some lamb he would have
called his franchise Lamb-Oh-God! "cause it's the best G.. D.. sandwich"

If the franchise owners are concerned about profits, they need to tell corporate that their sales are being affected by the choices they make.

That's certainly your right..... to choose where to eat for any reason whatsoever. I support that right.

But you might want to see what impact this brew haw haw has had on their sales before planning another one.

At least it is not the same post over and over begging Christians to tell you you are going to hell.
