Maybe. But the point is that marriage is a heterosexual tradition. There are no records or historical accounts of same-sex marriage in Western civilization. Gays trying to hijack this millennium old tradition does not make any sense.
Yet another reason that I will be staying away from Chick-Fil-A. I have no desire to have others assume my position on the matter of equal marriage rights by my choice of lunch, nor do I wish to subject myself to abhorrent behavior of those on both sides who apparently do want to make lunch a political act. I just want to eat in peace, which means I will be consuming my PB&J at my desk or at home for the foreseeable future.
