Seriously, your statement comes off as being extremely ignorant of America's democracy and freedom that many folks like you take for granted.
say what you want about his somewhat heavy-handed domestic and international policy making but can we not all agree that he was also a pretty darn good golfer? and had he not taken up the game late in life, he could have carved out a respectable career on tour either on the PGA circuit or abroad.
If the official government media is to be believed, Kim is easily the greatest golfer, the world has ever seeen.
Pyongyang media say Kim enjoys golf, having shot multiple holes-in-one during his first try at the game. He reportedly aced five holes and finished 38 under par on the golf course.
Who knows? I hope the North Koreans dump this regime though. It's horrid. They should overthrow it yesterday and petition to be reunited with the south.
I never understood why the N Korean people didn't band together and rise against this fascist regime and overthrow the government decades ago. Perhaps with the passing of Kim Jong Il, there will be an uprising and revolution - it is indeed long, long past due.

Cases of starvation are the price it must pay to maintain a strong armed forces and nuclear program, and safeguard its independence. Look at the south, they need U.S. bases to protect them.
This is kind of cool in a way ...... City-Data rates an actual NKorean propagandist! They must be going all out on the world internet forums to spin the mass starvations so that they don't seem as bad. Yeah, they needed to starve millions of citizens so that China wouldn't invade them, when China is their only friend in the world, and could have crushed them easily all along.
