Posted today on Snopes - an Arab Pepsi can with an images of a plane flying around buildings that look like the twin towers - that they say ISN'T the case.

That sure looks like smoke coming from one the building on the left. That sure looks like WTC 7 closer to the ground.

It's a close resemblance - too close for my liking.

You make the call.

Much ado about nothing. According to Snopes the building are supposed to represent those found in Arab city skylines.

You're too sensitive. Get that checked out.

I didn't see anything that made me think of that even in a remote sense.

What would Pepsi's motivation be to alienate the vast majority of its customer base in both the Arab and Western worlds?

Theories?

It's simple.

Because they hate America, the West, our freedoms, and our way of life!!

Geez, why is this so hard for you to understand? Must everything be explained to you? You must be a Muslim/Arab apologist. An America lover would never ask anything like this.

Anyway, back to this ridiculous thread.

Looking at that skyline doesn't make me think of New York. And I don't see the plane crashing into any buildings, so no.

OK - I'm crazy - even though Pepsi did state that they understood the confusion and are changing the design - so there is something there.

I am curious to know what skyline is represented here... they listed 7 - but never said specifically what this can represented.

People probably believe this crap because they think there are no skylines in Arab countries.
