Killing US agriculture is a plan that has been on the books for over a hundred years. Progressives are trying to create food shortages locally so we have to import our own food. Look at China buying up all the commercial AG. companies. Soon we will be importing ALL of our food from the likes of China, etc. Take a look at some of the globalist Progressive policies regarding food we grow here. Use corn fields for ethanol and not corn to eat, causing a shortage and prices to rise. California is one of the worlds top growers of nuts but what do we do? We export our locally grown nuts to other countries, then turn around and import the exact same product to feed our own people? What kind of **** is that? It can ONLY work out bad in the end. Why can't we feed our own people with our own food, then export SOME of the excess while keeping some in case of shortages?

From the Op's linked article:

Quote:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency wants to change how it analyzes problems and makes decisions, in a way that would give it vastly expanded power to regulate businesses, communities and ecosystems in the name of “sustainable development,” the centerpiece of a global United Nations conference slated for Rio de Janeiro next June.

Translation: EPA is doing the bidding of the UN's Agenda 21
Agenda 21 and the Movement Toward a One-World Govt (http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/7870-agenda-21-and-the-movement-toward-a-one-world-govt - broken link)

Quote:
The American Policy Center says of Agenda 21:
According to its authors, the objective of sustainable development is to integrate economic, social and environmental policies in order to achieve reduced consumption, social equity, and the preservation and restoration of biodiversity. Sustainablists insist that every societal decision be based on environmental impact, focusing on three components; global land use, global education, and global population control and reduction.

In 1987, Vice President of the World Socialist Party Gro Harlem Brundtland wrote a report for the United Nations entitled "Our Common Future," which explained that environmentalism could be used as a tool to control all the people of the world and establish a one-world government. ...............

Agenda 21 is supported by ICLEI, which has been funded by George Soros. In fact, in 1997, George Soros’ Open Society provided $2,147,415 to ICLEI in order to support its Local Agenda 21 Project........

President Ron Paul would dismantle the EPA, delegate limited authority to other agencies, and kill the shadow governement of layered bureaucracies which has effectively nullified the voice of the people and Congress.

Wow, more crap about Agenda 21. What is this Roy, your 5th thread about this subject after being debunked the other 4 times?

I think you have your tin foil hat on a bit too tight.

Actually that article is too long for many of our people to read so you getting into it and throwing out the Agenda 21 involvement in it all is good. Too many of our people really don't know what Agenda 21 is after a year of telling them. Thanks for including ICLEI, also.

That title is one that was assigned by the forum computer for some reason. it showed that I had posted what I wanted but it kept coming back telling me that I had posted that post twice in 5 minutes when in actuality I hadn't posted any of it but the link.

Read the article and find out what it is about. Yes, it does mention Agenda 21 but where did I say anything about it? I didn't see any words from me at all in the OP.

Now I see, you know nothing at all about Agenda 21 this late in the game but sure do support it. You are going to have take down the lib shield from in front of your head and try to learn something about how Lisa Jackson is so closely attached to the UN and the UN's Agenda 21.
