Well, first off no one is "given" a right. It's yours from birth. Right to a trial is codified in the Constitution regardless of an accused crime. Keeping a person detained without trial should make so called "Constitutional conservatives" angry.

Allowing a foreign company to build a pipeline across the top of one of this nation's greatest natural resources so they can more easily refine and ship gas to other countries is a huge deal. I'm glad we've slowed it down for further review.
And seriously, we can't drill for oil and gas in the US. Really? There are whole swaths of Texas, Alaska, North Dakota and Pennsylvania that say otherwise.

Because Congress has repeatedly denied funding for a Stateside detention facility. The Defense Authorization Act that just passed with a veto proof 2/3 majority basically keeps these foreign detention centers open forever. So, call your Congressperson ask them why Guantanamo is still open.
He just needs 4 more years to do it.. Future campaign promise..
