I'm not OK with a lot more than just his comments, more like his entire campaign. The neo-conservatism is on the decline, now it's time for this new neo-progressivism to be slapped down too; that is why a lot of my posts are anti-Democrat, though I am not totally an anti-progressive because I like Bernie Saunders and Dennis Kucinich.

I have and many of those posts come from your username.

Extended the payroll tax cuts.
So electing a bunch of obstructionists is going to bring us back to life? Just stop while you're behind. You're embarassing other right-wingers with that nonsense.

Why do conservatives not have a freaking clue what liberals think? I've never read so many gut-bustingly hilarious assumptions made by people who claim to be intelligent than I have here on C-D. Until I started posting here, I had no idea we as a country were populated with so many variations of crazy.

Is it not possible that the election of 2010 was a vote for CHANGE just like the election of 2008? And just because people want something different doesn't necessarily mean they want the exact opposite. Only people who think in black and white view things like that and those people are why we are so divided and stuck in the mud. The TP winners of 2010 will all lose their seats in the next elections because they hijacked the government to achieve something outside their job description. Their job is to serve us, not put everyone at risk for a sense of ideological superiority.

I want a better country. I'm not going to call for impeachment the second I hear one word I don't like. If the Obama haters think that Obama is destroying the country, what the hell do they think their response, their unbelievable extremism and arrogance, and their inability to compromise or see the world in color is accomplishing? Why is the damage always someone else's fault?

Yes We Can was 2008. Too bad so many decided they didn't want to participate, to be Americans, and to solve our problems. They'd rather turn out the lights and watch their fellow Americans go to the poor house just so they can high five each other and claim they were right. Well, I've got a hammer and I have every intention of prying up those nails you're driving into our coffin.

You are smarter than this. Smearing soccer moms, academics, and most sensible Americans who want good health care, a healthy middle class, and a clean environment as the spawn of communist despots is just asinine and gratuitously insulting. Give me a break.

The reason we can't stand this congress is that they are doing everything they can to sell our country down the river for their corporate sponsors. They do not want to make America better for all Americans, only those who write them checks.

In past years, the "powers" worked on developing a consensus that was called good governance. They had plenty of disagreement, but they were able to do good things to strengthen American Now is it all phony theatrics, partisan shouting, and idiocy.

People always use the word 'obstruction' as if it is a perjorative. It's not. It depends on what is being obstructed. If it's a thing that people don't want, then obstruction is good.

The Founders designed the gov't for obstruction. It only takes one out of the four sections of gov't (Senate, House, prez, courts) to block a law. The primary purpose for having a bi-cameral legislature was to make obstruction easier. If a bad law got thru one, it could be stopped in the other.

The Founders liked obstruction. Why don't today's Democrats?

Right. I hope the House kicks and screams and whines all the way until Obamacare is done and the country is behind them.

Please, like the right doesn't do the same. Atleast, when they lose. When they win, Democracy is great. When they lose, we have to hear the endless rhetoric about the two wolves and the sheep and "CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED" and "TYRANNY OF THE MAJORITY" and all that other bull****...

I hate to be pedantic but since there are THREE branches of government each being indivisible you have a basic mathematical problem underlying your rant.

Other than that you argument is fundamentally silly since the Democrats were elected by their constituents to oppose that obstructionism. Should they deny the wishes of their constituents?
