Man's wife was in labor and a C-section had to be performed. When the male nurse went to remove his wife's headdress, he attacked the nurse. He'd already been removed once before for accusing a nurse of raping his wife when the nurse went to check her dilation. France is finally getting tough on these people who refuse to live within the last ten centuries.

Lame. Old. Next.
True. But in America, that religious dress would be protected and while the burqua probably has to come off to get the baby out, no one would have taken off her headdress unless access was needed to that part of her body. That right is protected here.
Not in the least, her and her husband could have taken the ferry back to one of the Muslim countries and had her baby there.
If she decided to blatantly disregard the laws of the country she lives in, oh well....
These Muslims expect the country they moved to to bend down and kiss their a**, screw them.
This coming from an American that I assume loves the values we stand for. Like "freedom of religion". Yeah. let's support states like France denying that to it's citizens. Good one.
Unfortunately the Muslims want everyone everywhere to bow to their customs no matter where they live.
The only thing that's old and lame is Muslim's trying to force their way of life on everyone else.
The same could be said of Christians, Jews and others. It's called respect a person's beliefs and show compassion and empathy. You know, emotions HUMANS are capable of.
You would want the same courtesy extended to you.
I have YET to meet a Muslim that is forcing their way of life on me, so stop it.
