The Truth About Private Sector Growth Under Obama
CHART OF THE DAY:
Joe Weisenthal|July 19, 2011

Yesterday on his company's conference call, Wynn Resorts CEO Steve Wynn went on a fantastic, blistering tirade against the Obama administration.

He accused the administration of being a "wet blanket," killing job growth by introducing so much uncertainty.

So has the private sector really shriveled under Obama? No.

This chart looks at GDP without net government spending (AKA the deficit, AKA the difference between how much the government is pumping in via spending compared to how much its taking out via taxes). What you're left with, basically, is private sector growth.

YES. The Republicans # 1 Goal is to take over the White House at ALL COSTS. We all know that! Come on, it's not some top secret classified government document! The Republicans are so EVIL, they are willing to destroy the country for 4 years in order to get power back. Sick isn't it?

WASHINGTON - U.S. job growth ground to a halt in August as government layoffs erased meager gains in the private sector. The Labor Department says American businesses added only 17,000 jobs last month, far short of the 100,000 jobs analysts were expecting. To make matters worse, cuts in state and federal employment offset those gains. The net result - zero jobs added in August.

In Italy, where top economic experts gathered Friday to talk about the prospects of a global recovery, the assessments were predictably grim.

Lack of Jobs for Young Workers Spells 2012 Trouble for Obama

Today's jobs report from the Labor Department contains more bad news for President Obama, and not simply because the monthly unemployment rate remained unchanged at 9.1 percent in August.

What is of special concern to Democratic strategists is that young workers, aged 18 to 24, have an unemployment rate of 16.4 percent while many more are under-employed.

Ask your average college educated person under 25 what they think about the social views of these Republican candidates and you will learn quickly that Obama has nothing to worry about when it comes to this demographic. I would guess a majority of them would rather be jobless than have the country be run by a freak like Bachmann.

What does Bachman have to do with obamas unemployment numbers? I'll tell you NOTHING! He has done this on his own with the help of the other crazy liberals in his administration!

Bachmann has zero chance of winning the nomination and neither do the other ultra-socially conservative candidates - Perry and Santorum. You know that.

Doesn't matter. The freaky side of the GOP is on full display for all to see and is a huge turn-off to young voters.

Meanwhile in Texas, UT Republicans keep tweeting nasty stuff about Obama, further bringing down our fine state's image.

My wish for the New Year is that the GOP elect Gingrich, Bachman, Santorum, Perry...all the hell with it...any of them! They all SUCK.
