Unemployment, after hovering around 9 percent for more than two years, dropped in November to 8.6 percent. Employers have added at least 100,000 jobs each month from July through November. It's the best such streak since 2006.

Yes Pubs, give credit where credit is due. Oh wait a minute! Aren't the Republicans calling this "Obama's Economy", as it were a bad thing? They may wanna stay away from that one!

Why do folks continue to fall for unemployment numbers? they do not count the folks that have quit seeking employment and therefore aren't allowed the benefits. Smoke and mirrors, of course. Add to that the temporary jobs for just christmas season and you've got more "grasping at straws" to try and make the Communist leader look good and productive in some way. Not working~

Thanks to Obamacare and problems from it already, though incrementally reducing Medicare and Medicaid payments, while BO is on Oahu for his vacation there are almost 1,000 healthcare workers on that one, little island about to be unemployed because their two, large St. Francis Hospitals are BANKRUPT and only have sixty-something patients at this time.

No way to know if all 1,000 will immediately seek unemployment, leave Oahu, or what they will do.

Good news for America. Bad news for Teabaggers. I notice that Republicans get very upset at any news of the economy improving. They secretly want Americans to suffer with the vain hope that it might help them politically. Who need terrorists when you have teabaggers?

You watch way too much news. False news that YOUR (not mine) government tells the nightly news to report to the Sheep who believe everything they hear.

The real truth is written by Sunny in post #2.

By all NON Government neutral statistics this country is in the deepest DEpression since 1928. Anything you hear on your news is just hogwash.

Lets see what those numbers look like in January when all that Christmas help gets layed off. Oops I forgot, your Government will just not count those numbers in their updated reports. Yea yea yea that autta get the Sheep to think things are going well. Lets lie to them because the American people love to vote for liars.

Oh stop it! Stop looking for employment!? Who the hell does that! NO ONE THAT NEEDS A JOB, that's who!. And guess what? If you don't NEED A JOB, why should you be counted as unemployed?? Spin, spin, spin all you want 'til you get dizzy.

The civilian labor force participation rate declined by 0.2 percentage point to 64.0 percent. The employment-population ratio, at 58.5 percent, changed little. (See table A-1.)

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf

That would be a little over 300,000 people.

Well, somebody's got to unload those Air Jordan's, truck them to the ghetto's, stock the shelves and collect those unemployment bucks to send back to China.

Those 'jobs' will disappear after 1-1-12!

Thanks, GOP House!

If this is all because of Obama, then why didn't it happen before January 2011? Did you ever stop to think that the gridlock created by the Republican House slowing the Democrats' policies could have helped? Of course you didn't.
