Another sign of a wonderfully improving economy - consumers this year were relying on holiday sales to purchase items for themselves at a reduced cost more than in the past.
You have not heard then. We are not in a recession we have rebounded! obama said so.!.!.!

Right, because in the past nobody could ever manage to make the connection between sales and things they might need

The discussion isnt that no one has done it in the past. Try to follow along. I know its difficult at times, but this one isnt that tough.

Well, I needed a new dog leash for my boy dog and I sure as hell could use a good Carhart at 50% off so I can stay warm in Maine winters. Yep, waited for the sales...nothing wrong with that.

Nothing great about this at all. My daughter who works retail part time, going to college, and another friend, say more then half the sales recorded in Black Friday, were returned, what is so good about that.

Yeah. We should celebrate with sing-alongs. That would be a great holiday tradition that costs next to nothing.

I can't stand buying gifts for people who need nothing. I hate receiving gifts that I don't want.

We don't do the gift thing.

I guess it's ok for kids. But I'm not sure about lying to kids about Santa. Kids are supposed to be able to trust us.

I did hear that such a large percent of sales are made during this season that businesses would go bankrupt if there were no Xmas.

That's scary.

So, Happy Holidays, folks! Just keep spending.
