This lecture given by Edward Griffin, historian and researcher and author of The Creature from Jekyll Island is really eye opening about how the collectivist elites who control both the Republican and the Democratic party are gradually taking over control of our country and the devious strategies they use (and that leaders of other nations over history have done the same) to gain that control and to make us think we are choosing our own destiny.

He says American politics is the politics of hatred. It is all about dividing and conquering and getting the two major parties to hate each other when the people don't even realize that on the important issues, the parties are the same. We've seen the country since WW1 get weaker and weaker under both parties. We've also seen our system of government devolve from a representative government with a system of checks and balances with three branches of government and a president who used to have relatively little power change to becoming a democratic dictatorship where the president is like a King where Congress steps back and lets the president do whatever he wants.

He talks about the role of Monopoly Capitalists using the government to pass legislation to assure their success rather than Free Market Capitalism like we are supposed to have where corporations compete against each other for success and market share by producing a quality affordable product.

These are just a few of the items. There's discussion of: ignorance and apathy among most Americans;the co-opting of the Tea Party; the CFR owned media not allowing the real issues to be discussed; signs of globalism taking over such as Hillary Clinton's comment about how she was glad to have the CFR close by so she'd know what position to take on certain issues; the desire to clamp down on the internet; geo-engineering and more. But there is also talk about how there is hope now that the word is getting out about the Federal Reserve scam to enough Americans for them to realize they need to get OUT of the left/right paradigm altogether. It's really good! I highly recommend it. Here is the link.

Except that the liberals keep voting in globalist clowns like the Clintons and Obama who keep bailing out the CEOs and signing trade deals that send our jobs away. And the liberals then worship these clowns like they were some kind of gods.

You almost never see a liberal politician worshipper like the Clinton worshippers admit that NAFTA was a huge mistake or see through why Clinton signed it.

Nice job of validating the point: "He says American politics is the politics of hatred. It is all about dividing and conquering and getting the two major parties to hate each other when the people don't even realize that on the important issues, the parties are the same." made in the OP

There are globalists on both sides of the table. Don't fool yourselves into thinking your party has all the answers. Both parties are playing the same game with just slightly different rules to please the divided citizens.

Sadly, it's not just the liberals. There are plenty of Republicans virtually foaming at the mouth over the prospect of voting the likes of Gingrich, Romney, and Perry into the White House. All 3 of them have far more in common with the Democrats they claim to oppose than they do with anything resembling actual Constitutional conservatism.

There is a faction in each party that isn't in the "good old boy" club so to say. They usually don't stay around long. Why do you think there is all the attack dogs out on everybody in the repub nom process but Mitt? He's their choice next time around. Status quo all over again. Obammer has worn out his welcom so Mitt steps right in and the charade continues. Easy to sway the nincompoop voters with the nonsense spewed about on the tube. Hell most don't even pay attention until a couple weeks before the election to begin with.

The best way to get America back is to be fully informed of the upcoming college bowl games and which NFL team has the best chance to play in the Super Bowl. Also, all good citizens should always be on the lookout for new reports about Paris Hilton's escapades, the latest "he said, she said" episodes between Fox News and MSNBC, creams to reduce facial wrinkles, and the possibility of more sex scandals involving celebrities, politicians, and sports coaches. Now that the holiday season is winding down, we should pay attention to the latests trends of what to add to our fashionable spring wardrobes.
