As has been the case, increasing the debt limit does not increase the debt. It allows for incurred debt to be paid. It is up to Congress to come to terms with the rising debt problem. But, they don't seem to want to address that while in an election process. The real problem is, they are ALWAYS in an election process.
YOU say Congress. I say the dems. The repubs have introduced many spending CUTS and the senate won't cut anything.
ill informed, but yet you are still gonna vote for obama....
Yes ill-informed idiots. There's no way I could see myself join that collective who has issues with the President, and has been counting days since Nov 2008.

Debt ceilings mean nothing so just raise it to infinity and then we can be done hearing about how the government will come to a dead standstill and people will be dying on the streets unless we raise it yet again with zero cuts.
So, this is how the left thinks....borrow money, but borrwoing money does not increase our debt....
I don't really care how the Left or the Right think. I prefer to evaluate the facts and come to my own conclusion. That's something you may want to try. I suggest starting with learning what the debt ceiling is about.
