The Tea Party does one thing right.

They don't tolerate GOP politicians who cross them. They are willing to hit the self destruct button if their candidates cross the line. Hence, they get respect from Republicans.

Well Padcrasher, you nailed it.

The Republican establishment hates the Tea Party Movement because they know we will throw a close race if they run an unprincipled candidate.

Hopefully our friends on the left will take notice and do some of their own house cleaning in the near future.

None of us benefit from officeholders receiving a pass simply because of party affiliation.

In the case of Obama, if I were a liberal, I would despise him for being an unprincipled and unreliable two-faced opportunist.

A Republican telling liberals they should punish Obama by voting for Republicans. Color me shocked.

If liberals think they will benefit by voting for Romney to "punish" Obama, just remember all those states that voted in Republican governors and now are completely miserable. Ask Wisconsin, Florida or Michigan. They HATE these Republican governors and now they are having to endure while these governors decimate their states. Republicans in 2010 ran on "jobs" and have spent the last year and a half going after NPR, Planned Parenthood, killing every jobs bill and trying to shut the government down.

Republicans have no plan for Health Care reform other than to kill Obamacare. What will you do when you have to choose between health insurance and food? Romney is fully supporting Paul Ryan's plan to kill Medicare and replace it with coupons toward the purchase of insurance. Vote for a Republican president? Not a chance.

I've explained the argument. It's looking at the long term picture. Of course it would be a short term loss. Nobody is denying that.
I respect your view, but disagree that is the best way to go about it.

The massive, increased regulation from this administration that makes it more costly to do business.
First, there haven't been "massive increases in regulation." The truth is the opposite: Obama Is Watering Down Regulations More Than Bush, Study Shows - Bloomberg

Second, the Affordable Care Act is not a hindrance to jobs. Unemployment was skyrocketing a year before Obama became President. Surveys of businesses state that lack of demand for what they sell is holding back hiring.

Third, your meme/talking point about the stimulus has been discredited many times:

The problem with Obama detractors is that they form their opinions from what they think are facts, not actual facts. Then we have those like sanrene who I suspect knows that these statements are false but doesn't care as long as it helps Republicans.

I have thought, but can't prove, that he acts like somebody who has been "read his rights" by a higher power (such as Wall Street). Then to make things worse, midterm voters elected more Wallstreeters to Congress.

The Tea Party seems like a "polite" face for the KKK and its goal of destroying his presidency at all costs, and above all else, seems to suggest this. I'm saying the movement has drawn those types into its fold (not those who actually believe it's about balanced budgets). The original Boston Tea Party was against corporatism in govt which present-day teabaggers seem to embrace.

These governor's were brought in to fix states heading full foward into Bankruptcy.... Now people are unhappy that UNSUSTAINABLE spending is getting cut? Sure they are, if they rely on it.

UNSUSTAINABLE spending is just that, people are happy until it all COLLAPSES.

You would see little, if any difference between Romney and Obama. Both talk a lot of s#!t, and both are completely full of s#!t. Corrupt, lying backstabbers, both of them. If either of them get elected, we deserve what we get.

Republicans had plans but the lib media, flush with their worship and mutual love for the Teleprompter in Chief ignored it. Central to the plan was badly needed tort reform which would stop frivilous lawsuits and reign in the out of control malpractice insurance costs which are part of the escalating costs of healthcare.
