Just sad what was done. At least it was made public and their policy should change. If it was a shelter I donated to you could bet I wouldn't be anymore until things changed.

Policy has been changed. They will now take payments over the phone by credit card and have set up a donation based account for medical bills for people who can have a payment sent in over a day or two.

I feel so sorry for that poor man. The shelter offered him an adoption for free but he said no. After hand feeding that kitten I know nothing will replace it for him. Just heartbreaking.
