If you are middle-class and put in a hard days work, then Obama is your man. The last I checked, the middle-class is still the largest voting Demographic in America.

As long as Obama and the Democrats keep sounding the populist tone and fight for issues that concern the middle class, the Republicans and their corporate donors will have a very hard time buying the election.

The sad part is that Republicans believe these people are actual conservatives. What they don't realize is that's all a big lie. It's what they tell Republicans to get their votes. They pander to the masses. They all know they are all money and power hungry people who could care less about the daily lives of the people that voted them in.

So that describes the Republicans but not the Democrats ?
Did you happen to see who benefits big time in DC from Obamacare ?
It's not the Repubs who got all those donations from big Pharma.

And the Dems are so caring about the people that voted them in ?
ROFL at that one. GE and Google get more attention and favorable laws from this administration than Joe Sixpack on the street.

Quiet now. We are not supposed to talk about that.

I know that you're being facetious, but it is the reason that there are poor people suffering.

Well to do social leftists will not lift a finger to help anyone unless they are forced to do so. They would much rather donate to some socialist politician who claims they want to tax the rich than actually donate to the poor themselves.

For ONCE JUST ONCE be GRATEFUL for what you do have.. Take a trip to a 3rd world country then come back and complain.. If you spent 1/3 the time working hard to be successful as you spend complaining, defecting in parks, asking Obama to pay your mortgage and gas bills..

Here I go again... start a business, sell on a corner, a local market... market yourself and your company... brand your self... BUILD A COMPANY WORK! WORK! WORK! WORK!
But that's too hard!

You are intentionally being obtuse. I specifically said that there are more poor than rich but those poor have little income to tax. Your absurd point is illustrated in this video:
World of Class Warfare - The Poor's Free Ride Is Over - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - 08/18/11 - Video Clip | Comedy Central

The poor are those that earn less than $22,500 a year. Everything the poor have is a total of $1.45 trillion. They represent only 2% of national income compared to the top 1%, who earn 17% of national income (source.)

Considering that the income of the top 1% grew by 276% since 1979, coinciding with lowering their tax-rates starting at that time, it sure makes sense to reverse this 30 year trend.

So, beyond the immorality of increasing taxes on the struggling poor, instead of raising them on the wealthy, it makes little practical or mathematical sense too.

There we have it, if you complain about income inequality promulgated by a tax system that favors the wealthy you are jealous.

The fact is that not only is there NO evidence that that "tax cuts benefit everybody" the evidence is very clear that tax breaks helped the rich and nobody else. While most middle-class workers got a few hundred dollars relief from Bush's tax-cuts, the average millionaire got $90,000.

Moreover, there is just as strong evidence that raising taxes on the rich DID indeed solve national debt problems historically.

After World War II, the debt to GDP ratio was 120%. Through very high taxes on upper incomes and corporations those debts were paid.

Instead they fund UN projects that produce genetically modified mosquitoes while telling DC they must do something to fight poverty.

The majority of the Bush/Obama tax cuts went to the middle class.
