Things are surely getting more dicey by the day. Might just be time to blockade these morons and call their bluff. Iran won't last long without any refined gasoline for their populace.

Earlier Thursday, Iranian official Commodore Mahmoud Mousavi said that a US aircraft carrier entered a zone near the strait, which is being used by the Iranian Navy for war games.
"A US aircraft carrier was spotted inside the maneuver zone ... by a navy reconnaissance aircraft," Mousavi was quoted as saying by the state-run IRNA news agency.
The vessel was believed to be the USS John C. Stennis, one of the US Navy's biggest warships.

Screw the Iranians, the Stennis is:

"OK, I'll call your bluff and raise you ten"

Well I think the best Iran's got as for planes are some old F-14 fighters and the squadron of French Mirage fighters they stole after the frenchies landed em there during the first gulf war. The rest are some old F-4 and F-5's from back in vetnam. Wouldn't take long to blast em to bits if they can even get half of em up in the air to begin with.

Their surface navy and air force is a joke. Unfortunatey, they do have some quiet subs...and the Stennis is a damn big target. Gotta wonder how many Virginia class boats we have in the straights.

Since 8 are on active duty I'd say four to play it safe.

They have 26 subs total, none of which are considered modern.

Well to update you, hours ago Iran has warned for the American Aircraft carrier and its fleet, not to re-enter the gulf 'or else'...

They said they will only warn one time...

This is getting scary...

They bought state of the art silent running diesels from the Russians back in the day. They're aging but still hard to detect. As close in as we are in that bath tub the call a gulf, something like an Exocet is the real threat. We are obviously provoking them to make an attack.

I've been up all night...and the news media is not even covering this...

Instead they're covering the Iowa caucasis, and the LA arsonist being captured, and other pop culture pap...

This is major news...no nation has ever ordered the American fleet to not enter the Persion Gulf or Arabian Penninsula, and none of the news stations are covering it...I'm disappointed...

Our news media is alseep!
