Verizon wants you to pay for the priviledge of paying your bill online ($2). Imagine that, charging you to pay your own bills. When is enough, enough Wall Street!? Didn't Verizon learn anything from the Bank of America and Netflix mess!?

What the hell does a $2 surcharge from Verizon have to do with Wall Street?

"Wall Street" can refer to big business interests. You know what is meant by the term in the context it was use.

So switch to T-Mobile. Companies add and remove fees, reasonable and stupid, all the time.

If you mean "big business" then why not just say "big business?" "Big Business" and "Wall Street" are not interchangeable terms.

When Verizon has it's customer's tied to contracts, it forces a lot of their customers to eat the fee. I hope those not in contracts leave them.

Nickels and dimes add up to millions.

That's your opinion.

In this day an age, we have "Wall Street" vs. "Main Street".

OK, if you say so.

You are more interested in terms then the act of Verizon. So you think it's ok for Verizon to charge customers to pay their bills?

Would it be okay for them to simply raise their plans by $2? I love how people get emotionally worked up to different levels depending on how the fee is applied.

I don't think it's "okay" but I don't think it should be illegal. I will simply take my business elsewhere, which I chose to do years ago. Verizon is ridiculous on pricing anyway, this doesn't exactly shock me.

In many cases, you can use a change like this to ditch your contract since it wasn't part of the original agreement.
