It's pretty telling all the tea party people in this thread right off the bat kick in the hate, name calling, and other childishness. If they were actual supporters of the constitution and wanted people to take them seriously, there should have been at least one that would stand up against these actions of tearing up recall petitions and spitting in people's faces, and how they don't represent the tea party, but no, not one has done so.
Yet they continue to wonder why people think the tea party is filled with nothing but uninformed, hate filled idiots

Government agency overseeing recall petitions says that Adolf Hitler and Mickey Mouse are legitimate names submitted since they have a MI address and they see no need to investigate their authenicity.
This is our 'recall petition' authority in action.

I'm not sure I can stand up and call out the tea party over this because I don't know thier reasoning. They might be crotchety old farts or hardcore republicans that aren't teaparty or whatever.

For whatever reason interfering with petitions, voters etc. should be prosecuted fully, like back in 2004....

I fully support the peoples ability to recall Walker under the state rules and let their will be known, that's the democratic process. If he is removed then so be it, that's the will of the people.

You started out with name calling and an outright lie. Hello pot, this is kettle. You have no moral high ground upon which to stand.

I already said this kind of thing has no place in the political process. I do not support it. I also, however, do not support your outright lie in this thread. Your very opening was libelous, suggesting this was organized and endorsed by the Tea Party when in fact the links you yourself provided said nothing at all about the Tea Party.

"Yet they continue to wonder why people think the tea party is filled with nothing but uninformed, hate filled idiots."

Because uniformed, hate filled idiots make posts like this, spreading lies and untruths.

I think the two men who were accused of spiting, were just two democrats, spitting into the wind, with this useless recall petition crap.

How are these people knocking over signs, etc... automatically TEA party folks? I think these are just actors, hired by dems, to act like this, and i have just as much proof as you do, when you claim they are TEA party members.

This whole recall action is nothing but an abuse of a perfectly good voter tool. You recall a corrupt or unethical politician, you don't just throw a hissy fit, and whine for a recall, just because your guy lost the election. Want to win? Then put up a better candidate!! The dems don't even have anyone willing to run a viable campaign against Walker, all they have is a hissy-fit inspired rage.

It is so sad to see groups resorting to tactics like that. I am sure those on the other side of the issue do have their own thugs as we have seen on the news also. That is not the domain of the Tea Party people I must point that also. I wish those types of people would stop and think but I know that won't happen. Those tactics have been used by all groups even from the start of our nation. Take care.

1. nothing about the tea party is associated with this, except in the mind of the OP.

2. Sounds just like the Union tactics used previously?

Politics as usual....

Neither us nor the cops were there when the incidents took place. It could have happened like the witness (recall petitioners) stated. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. Personal belief, the recall petitioners are very aggressive to get signatures, they get angry and in yelling matches with those who refuse to sign, words are exchanged, threats are exchanged, in a fit of rage, the person lashes out. Doesn't make them "tea party" people. Why would police take the side of the recall petitioners? They're in a union.

Are you trying to talk about rampant while using ramped as a word? Ramped just doesn't fit an sentence you have posted on this thread. Try a dictionary if you don't believe me.
