What's the saying .. "If you outlaw guns .. only ...."

An off-duty police officer has been charged with executing a man in a sports bar - after an argument over a game of darts.

Riverside County sheriff's deputy Dayle Long, 42, allegedly shot Samuel Vanettes, 36, three times, leaving him to die on the floor of the bar in Murrieta, California.

Outlaw cops. Guns don't kill people, but police sure as hell do.

It was the darts that caused it. Outlaw all darts over 22 grams and require only plastic points.

Another good step would be to screen police applicants for psychopathic tendencies.

We all know people who want to become cops are people on power trips, just like politicians.

Police killed a college bound, unarmed, 18-year old kid with a tazer in Cincinnati (where I am) earlier this year. Usually police are pretty good folks, but the bad ones can be tragically bad.

The thing that gets me is when police aren't held accountable. If they kill someone in any situation other than one of self-defense, it should be a crime. Police don't have a separate set of rules that apply to them.

He's a ten-year veteran. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a normal, fine guy when he applied. Regardless, he should go to prison forever.

Perhaps departments ought to have yearly or bi-yearly psych assessments.

Sadly many LEO's have that pompass and arrogant attitude anymore.
He should be sent directly to jail, not waste one single tax payer dime on a trial etc.......
