Science makes no attempt to "weed out God". Science doesnt' touch the metaphysical and spiritual, only the physical.

By God's very nature, God can never be proven nor disproven.

Um.

Wat.

Sexual promiscuity IS normal and IS natural.

The only thing that goes AGAINST this is social taboo.

Science doesn't care about God, any more than anything else without the evidence of any presence. Why should it? It functions on knowledge, evidence, facts, and establishing such things as homosexuality being perfectly normal in its very existence. Unless, you can scientifically prove that it is artificial and that people can choose to be gays? At what point in your life did you have that choice? (FYI, asking questions and seeking answers is fundamental to science).

Religious dogma has stood still. That doesn't mean that all believers are part of the arm of flesh dogma, which is designed to control minds and limit growth.
Science doesn't always improve our lives, it may improve it's methods, but it leaves out certain truths that should not be left out.

Dogma is often wrong, and stays that way, particularly among those who aren't open minded enough to expand their beliefs with changing human understanding.

That would by why organized religion is disappearing in the West. Tradition cannot keep up with human progression, because it doesn't offer the truth.
No disagreement there. Organized religion needs to wake up, just as much as the push to sensualism needs to get over instant gratification.

You realize there are plenty of Scientists that believe in God.

They do care about God, and are in constant Awe of His Creation. They are wanting to learn how he does it.

Maybe not for you, God is very real to many people, and He is a constant in their daily lives. No need to prove, what is already understood.

Because apparently I haven't said many times in this thread that I believe in God.

Just not a creator, mind you.

The topic of discussion is: "Do you feel it is correct to teach children that homosexuality is normal and natural?" not Science vs. Religion - if you wish to discuss the latter, please create a new thread.

This is the problem with allowing homosexuals advance their agenda in schools. One step at a time they will add on to it, and it will lead to complete destruction in moral values in US. Someone needs to put a stop to it, or people will take it to the streets. To be honest with you, the new law is likely to have the opposite effect of what they wanted, because people will fight back when attacked, and it is clearly an attack.

Because morality is objective, and not subjective, right?

There's nothing immoral with having sex with more than one person.

Did not intend to derail...

Don't teach / indoctrinate homo-sex to anyone, especially our children.

If it is meant to prevail as a choice, it will happen naturally to our human race.
