Even a strong pool of contacts is all about luck. It's who you know, and it takes luck to run into the right people, and a certain personality to develop a rapport with them that will benefit you.

I doubt that seriously.
Um most adults don't know any of that stuff, so why are you ridiculing kids?

Maybe it is a good sign when people stop believing in capitalism as if it were a religion. After all, many people think it is to blame for many of our modern problems...

This country is worse than socialist.. We are a country that literally supports the rich with socialism breaks and perks such as tax breaks, loopholes, and paying many for their screwups.. I'd rather have pure socialism or communism even at this point..

They do NOT pay a large share. They pay the exact same rate for pretty much the same benefits (the lower one's income, the better their return on FICA tax premiums paid into the federal social insurance system) as everyone else.

Looking at federal taxes alone is intentional putting blinders on, based on the inverse inequality in all the "other" taxes we can understand why you choose to wear blinders. I'll live in the real world though.
Ah, but you're not living in the real world. Look at the facts, including all taxes and all benefits and services received, federal, local, and state. The middle class downward are actually coming out AHEAD, receiving MORE in benefits and services than they pay into the system.

Really?

Even AFTER all the documented FACTS I've posted indicating EXACTLY OTHERWISE?

...another one duped by purposely deceitful liberal lies.

Generally speaking I ignore your posts because they are poorly thought out or researched. Your conclusions are generally pure flights of fancy but on this one occasion, you are actually correct. Yes, the US has indeed become a socialist country. Unfortunately that's not the way it's supposed to be.

Caged zoo animals born in captivity generally don't want to go out into the wild whereas the one that was born free will pace back and forth till death looking for a way out.

REALLY, tell me where it is written what type of economic system we are "supposed" to have. Does it say "capitalism" in the Constitution? "IT" is supposed to be what we want it to be, if the majority wants a form of socialism, that is what it supposed to be. Government BY the people.

BS, FICA is paid at the same rate to a capped amount, ON WAGES. But we know the uber wealthy don't make their money on wages, the make most income thru cap gain and pay ZERO FICA taxes on that income. Wrong on the SS benefits, lower income producer do receive much less, monthly checks like $450. My wife, a high earner will get about four times that.

How much constitutional ignorance can you spew in one thread? We are not a mob rule democracy.
