I don't know...i just don't see why a church should be special. About as much criminality goes on in church as a wh*rehouse anyway. At least from what i see.

Prostitution between consenting adults should be legal. It is a no-brainer.
It would lessen the exploitation of minors and illegal immigrants, and would reduce illegal immigration. With prostitution being legal and thus workplace safety regulations put in place, US citizens would be more willing to be prostitutes. With the economy as it is now many are willing to be prostitutes anyways.

I think yes. I bet most women dont go into it because they are morally poor as the church may say. Its more about the ability to make money with the skills you have. Especially in poorer countries than the US.

Legalised/legalized are both accepted spellings of the word, Webster.

I've yet to be given a satisfactory answer as to why a woman can give it away for free as many times a day as she wants, but if i slip her a dime, we both have to go to jail.

Someone explain that to me.
George Carlin once said that prostitution laws make no sense because it is illegal to sell what is legal to give away for free. I can't say I disagree with him.

But unfortunately we live in a world where moralistic, idiot politicians, cynical civil servants, and an ignorant populace make policy.

@jjwebster, I'm a "Bible thumper," just FYI. Originally from Florida. Edit, I realize that's not the phrase you used, my bad, but it's the same connotation.
And, being from Florida, you are familiar with the number of strip clubs as well. I don't see a lot of difference between them and brothels. And, I'd much rather have a brothel next door than a crack house. There are a few of them in this neighborhood. Brothels would be an upgrade. And, if they are registered with the county as a business, authorities would have better control over health (STDs) and drugs. I'd see it as a winning situation all the way around.

I was told that in New Zealand, they made it legal a few years ago, and now... You can order a girl just like ordering pizza. And, the woman I talked to there, said she did not see it as degrading anything.

Legalize it, tax it, license fee it. I have no problems being next to a church. No better place to be. A church should reach out not hide .
