After government officials, who should get it first? If we had a lottery should some people be bared from entering? Should illigal immgrents be able to enter? what about criminals?

no goverment employees or politicians should get it. the young should get it 1st, then young adults ages 16-27. everyone else can take a flying leap.

ps. I am age 49, one of the ones taking a flying leap.

government folks... hmm ok test it on them, since most people catch it from the vaccine, sounds perfect.

I will remove myself from the lottery as I don't want this or an FLu vaccine.

I think those wearing Air Jordans will get to the front of the line faster.
Me..I'll pass on that vaccine. Will take my chances with self-isolation.

Impossible to answer without a specific number of vaccines. Are we talking 1 in 3 people saved? 1 in 10? 1 in 100?

The answer varies widely based on each situation.

The usual priorities with a vaccine shortage are:

People 65 years of age and older
Children ages 6 months to 23 months
Household members and out-of-home caregivers of infants under the age of 6 months (Infants under the age of 6 months cannot be vaccinated.)
Pregnant women
Children and teenagers, 6 months to 18 years of age, who take aspirin daily
Adults and children 2 years of age and older with:
Chronic pulmonary disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema)
Chronic cardiovascular disease (e.g., congestive heart failure)
Chronic metabolic diseases (e.g., diabetes mellitus)
Renal dysfunction
Hemoglobinopathies (e.g., sickle cell anemia)
weakened immune systems (e.g., medications, HIV/AIDS)
Residents of nursing homes and other chronic-care facilities
Healthcare workers who provide direct, hands-on care to patients
