Well, for one it might just show people how stupid the folks are who are trying to make LIBERAL into some kind of dirty word. It used to be communist they used to scare the people ito electing them against their "the people's" own interests. Now that communism is pretty much kaput they need a new boogyman. In metropolitan areas, along with college towns, yes.
In the deep rural south, probably not. The Klan still has appeal.
