Yep...that's my thoughts on it too...a person who pays to go watch pro sports much less fights about it is IMO a dumb ass royale.

Wait, no racial polemics? No blanket exhortations to recognizing and eschewing the cultural pathologies of an entire people? Odd for a violence-themed thread. Maybe it'll pick up soon.
Ya'll can't wait to have a racial argument on here. That's sad

Sure is.

I'll wait for the next "why do blacks?" thread to pop up and see how long it takes for the knives to come out. Bet it won't take 5 pages.

Oh, Im sure it happens with all sports teams. It's just that Philly is on it's own special level since one of it's stadium services is a speedy arraignment.

Thing about it there is not any whites even remotely condoning it.It is disgusting no matter what race they are.But ya'll are trying to race bait,i'll bite. This does not change the violent crime stats or the fact that 4500 out 100,000 black men are in prison while 700 white men are.Is this what you have been scanning cd all day long waiting on?

No one is arguing about crime rates. You're the only person that brought that up.

And no one is claiming that whites are endorsing this behavior. We're talking about C-D threads. If a few details of this story had been different, this thread would be about 30 pages and 75% of it would've been overwhelmingly negative towards a certain group. You yourself would've had about 10 posts by now.

83% of the people in the city voted for Obama in 2008. What more would you expect from a bunch of Obama voters? Animals will behave like animals.

So you just would've needed to vote for John McCain in 2008 to not be considered an "animal"? Not quite getting the connection. I'm willing to bet these punks voted for Bush AND McCain, if they voted at all.

C'mon it happens everywhere, but its not a story unless its Philly. Ranger fans know better than to show up at Geno's with jerseys on after a loss. It happens to Philly fans up in New York as well. Expect problems if you go to a rival city with the opposing jersey.

I've seen lots of Phillies fans at Pirates home games. I'm a Phillies fan, myself. Pirates fans sat on either sides of us, and we did have some good natured competitive ribbing, but they were really nice. Maybe it's just because Pittsburgh folks in general are nice? At the last game I attended, the Phillies lost...
