Why not just eliminate Israel if you think Israel is going to be the aggressor?

Oh yeah? What video game are you playing?

You do understand there is a difference between combat radius and range, right? No, probably not.

Not seeing nothing...

Israel took out a low level Procurement Eng., probably w/o warning the US. It is not likely to deter any of Iran's efforts to develop a nuke. What it does, is provoke Iran. If Iran reacts stupidly with violent action or blocking the Straits, Israel and probably the US, will react. Eventually that could lead to the destruction of the Nuclear facility. Israel cannot do that without the US Air power. Thing to do now, wait to see what Iran does, if anything.

How far will we go? Maybe pretty far. Of course the timing may be variable, about September or so?

We are forming coalitions, Israel can orchestrate this war, without getting their hands dirty.

Waging Covert War on Iran - by Stephen Lendman

Washington and Israel plan regime change in Iran and Syria. Israel wants regional supremacy. Washington wants global hegemony and control of the world's strategic resources.

America tolerates no independent states. Making them client ones is prioritized.

Insurgent infiltrators ravaged Syria for months. Libya's model was replicated short of NATO intervention perhaps to follow.

Washington, Israel, and rogue allies use many destabilization tactics. They include fake accusations, political and economic sanctions, isolation, covert and direct confrontation, cyberwar, targeted assassinations, and other provocations short of war perhaps planned.

Iran has allies too.
Defiant Ahmadinejad wins backing of four LatAm allies

yet he is still willing to try diplomacy. He is showing much more restraint than mine fuhrer.

Quote:
Iran, however, said Thursday it stood ready to resume talks on its suspect nuclear activities with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, plus Germany.
And diplomats in Vienna said the UN nuclear watchdog IAEA was to send its chief inspector and deputy director to Iran for a week from January 28 to discuss the country's nuclear activities. Although the United States last week warned Latin American states against deepening their ties with Iran, Ahmadinejad won support from the presidents of Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Ecuador to peacefully develop nuclear energy.

The Chinese will complain and posture and then do nothing because the bottom line is that without American markets for their goods, China's economy collapses. With a population already demanding more democracy and personal freedom the last thing the government could tolerate would be an economic collapse. The debt means nothing; we can print the dollars to pay them whenever we want. They are completely dependent on our markets.
