"The Republican speaker of the Kansas statehouse issued an apology this week after sending emails from his personal account referring to First Lady Michelle Obama as “Mrs. YoMama” and quoting a Bible verse cited by some as a reference to presidential assassination."

Who cares? It's his personal email. It was in poor taste but still.
You should still be concerned. When it is an elected official representing citizens and formulating policies impacting millions, you want him or her to have their head on straight. Not everything in your private life is off limits.

Wow...that's it? The man quoted a bible verse about his children being fatherless beggars in this street and his wife being a widow. That went a little father than "poor taste." Wishing death on someone isn't on the same level as making a rude comment about their appearance.
Never fear, the usual suspects will chime in on how this is not stereotypically racial in nature (yomama reference), how he really wasn't praying for the President's death (how else to make his children fatherless and his wife a widow?)
How this isn't the norm for the Conservatives, it's really not their character to stoop to stereotypes.
Just dismiss the monkey, ni66er, watermelon, welfare, and malt liquor references, that's not what they stand for as a party.
I care when an elected official does it. Praying for the death of the President is more than "poor taste". That's why he apologized.
Isn't advocating for the death of the POTUS in any way illegal?
I thought it was. If it is, his ass should be thrown in jail. Just like any ordinary citizen would be.
