Your girlfriend is being polite trust me she doesn't consider herself African anything, she considers herself a Ghanaian, period maybe Ghanaian-American. Even if she calls herself African-American I guarentee you she doesn't think she is one of you guys. There are a plethera of diverse cultures within Ghana and throughout Africa.
No way a people who think killing folks for sneakers are a part of my culture.
First of all MY FIANCE' is male. One question who voted you the seerer, speaker and master of the way others think or what they believe. My FIANCE' see's himself as a African American.

I could ask the same of you. I don't see myself as a descendent of slaves and you said since I don't I hate myself. I'm just responding in kind.
I'm part of the Ghanaian American community don't try and ensnare me into the swamp that is the African American community.
You guys are sinking and don't even realize it.
I think there are enough issues within your home country that you shouldn't be worried about, let alone critiquing, the supposed woes of African Americans. I just hope your beloved Ghana does not plunge back into a civil war.

Point to anywhere in any of my posts where I indicated, suggest or stated straight out you were a descendent of slaves? Where? Your too busy spewing ignorance that you can't even comprehend what your reading.

What are you talking about? I think you are confusing Ghana with Nigeria. There is no pending civil war in Ghana not even close. In fact it is open for business I personally know two African Americans who have moved there to take advantage of the growing economy there.
Also the problems of African Americans are very real and dire. It is a shame you guys refuse to acknowledge that fact.
It's a shame this young man's death is being brushed aside on this thread.

But the United States is his home country. He was born here.
No one is brushing aside the death of the young man. It's indeed tragic. What do you want to see done? And what are you doing to help ensure that this goal is met?
While you're pondering this, what do you think of these stories from your homeland?
He still didn't respond to my post of challenging him to post something positive about black americans.
Doubt it will happen.
