You are the one that constantly brings up African Americans, like almost every other thread. If you really want to distance yourself from that community, you are going about it the wrong way.
What of the poor communities that are predominately white? What's your take on this issue?
Poor white communities have substantially lower crime than similar situated Black communities.
You could take a look up I-95 and examine Baltimore for example which has a substantial white underclass with the same pathologies as their black counterparts, low educational attainment, single motherhood, etc.
Yet there were only 3 white murder victims last year in the city. In two of the cases the perps arrested were Black and the unsolved case a young white boy was gunned down with his black friend in a predominantly Black neighborhood. Evidently the boy's father was one of the few whites who stuck around as the neighborhood changed. I bet he regrets that now.

Actually poverty doesn't equal crime. Garrett County in the Appalachian part of Maryland has a fraction of the median household income that PG does and has lower crime and better schools.
Or you could compare El Paso, TX which is about the size of DC, has higher food stamp usage, borders a violent Mexican city and had a grand total of 15 murders and is rated one of the safest large cities in America.
Poverty is not an excuse for depravity.
Perhaps I should've clarified and said poverty and urban living. It's the same the world over. If it's a poor area that's heavily populated (especially close to areas of wealth), there will be crime.
If I was poor and my nearest neighbor was 10 miles away, my thirst to kill would probably wane by the time I walked to their house.

You have to give me examples. I need a large city with a white majority that is a "failure". I can't compare an abstract of a city in your imagination.

Nor do I think whites or Asians care much whether a black person is traditional AA or recently immigrated. If someone is black and lives in the US, he is an AA
