someone not practicing "front side responsibility" is not going to become responsible because they viewed an ultrasound. a sonogram will not be the cure all that will change these people's lives. get real.

What is disgusting is that pro-abortionists advocate killing the life over putting the baby up for adoption so it can have a loving home. And don't feed me crap about how there are so many kids in foster care. As someone who has looked into domestic adoption of an infant, I can say the waiting lists are a mile long. The ones who end up in foster care are born to parents who are screwups but decide they want to try to be a parent an get their welfare checks and end up getting the kid(s) taken away. Many of these are minorities, and statistically speaking, there are fewer black adoptive parents than white ones, so they end up in the system.
There are 1.4 Million Abortions per a year in the US. There are about 40,000 children up for adoption every year in the US. 20,000 a year are adopted, mostly infants. The adoption rate drops off drastically as the child gets older, until they are virtually un-adoptible as teenagers.
Assuming an extremely conservative ten percent of those that are currently aborted are put up for adoption instead, that is 140,000 more children per a year in the adoption system.
Who is going to pay for an 250% increase in the orphan population? Who is going to adopt these extra children?
How are we going to counter the inevitable crime rate that will rise due to so many children having grown up in institutions (or foster families,) vs.caring families?
I'm all for stopping abortions completely. But it leaves a messy and expensive problem. You're far better off stopping the problem at the other end with proper education in safe sex. It's cheaper in the long run.
