That NDAA bill was veto proof.
Spending bills and Federal control bills seem to have no problem getting through the House/Senate/WH. Yet talk about budget, talk about justice (Wall Street cronies) and the finger pointing starts that the other side is to blame for the inaction.
I would agree with everything in your post but I can't handle VETO PROOF. How does that happen, constitutionally speaking? Please explain.

Oh and you don't allow people such as Beck, and rags such as the Blaze and the Godfather to contine to attack you, not to mention web posters doing the same. Good to know we are still a Free Nation run by and an Elected Representative of the People
No, we have only the illusion of freedom remaining. Our country is largely run by the central bank (The Fed), the oligarchy, and bureaucratic agencies. The people have no real representation as Congress has rendered itself irrelevant through its own failures and surrender of Constitutional powers.
You need a small group of rewarded cronies, a highly taxed population, and you need to never let humanitarian disasters get in the way of support for your regime....

Don't forget a propaganda ministry that would make Goebbels proud. Obama has that here in the US.
Comparing a quiet, intelligent, mild mannered man like Obama to a man like Goebbels is beyond the pale. It makes NO sense whatsoever and doesn't advance the debate a centimeter. You can hate someone without having to compare them to one of the most vile, evil people in recent history. Someone responsible for rape, starvation, torture and mass death? Really?

War certainly helps a great deal to make a population scared so they'll support the big man in charge, and the threat of war also helps, but war isn't necessary.
Case in point: Turkmenistan under Turkmenbashi adhered to a policy of strict neutrality. Juan Peron's Argentina was neutral in all international conflicts although Peron loved to bash the US. Tito's Yugoslavia was officially neutral.
Peron and Tito as dictators went were on the milder side. But it's undeniable they were dictators (especially Tito)
Man, you guys are something else. Both Bush and Obama have destroyed civil rights and democracy in this country. When are you guys going to stop being party hacks and really pay attention to what is going on?
