1. There is a human tragedy behind the junk that Americans buy in a quest to maintain their shallow, unmeaningful lifestyles 2. China has many issues so please stop rolling over and conceding the 21st Century to them.

Americans have no idea and don't care. They go to the store to buy goods. It begins and ends at the store shelf.

China treats workers poorly? Clearly that is propaganda against the peoples republic!

Seriously though, seems to me that the Chinese workers will have to fight for the same rights that workers here in the US fought for 100 years or so ago.

Methinks I'd rather face the pinkertons than the Chinese army though.

Yeah, you're right. XBox only exists in the US and nobody in any other country has ever bought one.

Jumping off a building sounds like a personal problem to me.

Did you even bother to read the article? They were protesting for some extra cash as part of a job transfer. They weren't complaining about work conditions etc.

This sounds like just another "blame the US for all of the world's problems" thread.

Not only that, but there's a very high chance that the people whining about this have at least one Foxconn component in their computers, video game consoles, smartphones or TVs.
