We have dozens of threads on abortion, this is about a superbowl ad. You are taking the thread way off-topic. Ditto to the rest as well. If you don't think the ad is appropriate, change the channel.
Better yet, watch the game with Burdell. Then the two of them can sit there, remote at the ready to zap anything that doesn't fit their mind-set, muttering about right-wing conspiracies.

You took it off also with the deliberately misleading statement "Obama runs on a pro-abortion" If you're going to make allegations be prepared to back them up with something at least remotely close to factual.

WHERE did I ever say ANYTHING about right wing conspiracies?
What I HAVE said and will continue to say is the right continually displays their hypocrisy in crying out for MORE government in our lives when it suits their agenda.
He has the right to run the ads and advertisers have the right not to run said ads. I haven't watched a Superbowl in over 10 years, so I'll miss the ad anyway.
Do pro-life/choice advertisements really sway public? I believe social issue advertising entrenches people in their current beliefs.

It also enriches the media outlets that run the ad. This puts the far right in a sticky situation, give large amounts of money to a liberal company.
Yet a half-second flash of a naked boob had the "pro-Family" groups screaming "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"
That was my main point. A "wardrobe malfunction" is apparently abhorrent, but knowingly showing fetuses, lynched victims, and holocaust victims is okay because why?
