lol Sorry who doesnt have at least a state ID now a days since you cant do many things without some form of id
Cant get a job without an ID
Cant open a bank account without an ID which means you cant cash a check.
I dont know how anyone lives without at least a state ID
the exact same people that I wrote in my post...the old, and the poor, the ones that don't have Drivers licenses probably may not have a need for checking accounts. I don't even carry a purse half the time, just stick cash, a credit or debit card in my back pocket and I don't need an ID with me.

You all realize, I hope, that in many states an individual can be charged with "failure to produce proper identification" if asked to by a law enforcement official.
I don't have a problem with voter ID laws, but if people want those laws, everyone should be issued a voting ID card with our basic info for free. We shouldn't make voting harder to do, but make sure that everyone gets a vote.
You're kidding right? Dems count on voter fraud for victory. See Cook county 1960. Dems are unable to win an election where only legit voters, actually vote.
How about Dade county and Katherine Harris stopping the vote counting to usher Bush to an illegal victory? Doesn't that count as fraud?

Yet there is times you do need an ID is there not and you have one for those purposes?
Not sure what world you all think we live in that one doesnt need some form of ID expired or not.

Where is this? If driving a car, one must produce the driver's license. If riding a bus, or walking down the street, not so much.

I provided a link showing that the states that require ID also give people FREE state ids so they can vote
