You never answered my question, do you believe that there are homosexuals because of a mental illness?

Well let's start off by saying that religion has nothing to do with my standpoint nor does it affect my feelings on this subject.

What info exactly do you want?

I believe that there is a lot of clinical evidence that suggests that homosexuality is a mental disorder. That doesn't in any way mean mental retardation which is of course what a lot of people will instantly thing. Millions of people live normal lives with mental disorders like nervous ticks, stuttering, etc etc. We shouldn't condemn anyone with a mental disorder, there's nothing wrong with them.

Do not laws that expressly deny the rights of marriage to homosexual couples violate the 14th Amendment?

Hmm, three out of the first five are dated 1972 or earlier. The other two were published in 1999 and 2003. Yes, very reliable.

What does age have to do with the reliability of data? Electricity was discovered long before 1972, should we assume that it's not reliable?

When we're talking about human health, yes, recent research is much more relevant than research that is over 30 years old.

If you needed heart surgery, would you like to have surgery using modern methods, or surgery based on 1950s technology?
