Another example of Conservatives co-opting Dr. King now that he's safe in his grave. But had he lived, he wouldn't be anywhere near as popular with Conservatives. But in death, Conservatives find him quite useful.
Many black people today are still conservative on many issues--but not Republican.
Once more black people are unplugged from the "We Will Solve Your Problems" democrat party hive-mind like in The Matrix and begin to take stock of what the democrat party has done to their society they will begin to flock to the party of self determination and liberty.
I do wonder how many of them are yet aware of how "the Al sharptons" of our nation are abusing their Civil Rights Movement to try and establish Marxism and Communism.

Given the circumstances of that era, it is understandable why Dr. King was a Republican. It was the Republicans who fought to free blacks from slavery and amended the Constitution to grant blacks freedom (13th Amendment), citizenship (14th Amendment) and the right to vote (15th Amendment). Republicans passed the civil rights laws of the 1860s, including the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the Reconstruction Act of 1867 that was designed to establish a new government system in the Democrat-controlled South, one that was fair to blacks. Republicans also started the NAACP and affirmative action with Republican President Richard Nixon's 1969 Philadelphia Plan (crafted by black Republican Art Fletcher) that set the nation's fist goals and timetables. Although affirmative action now has been turned by the Democrats into an unfair quota system, affirmative action was begun by Nixon to counter the harm caused to blacks when Democrat President Woodrow Wilson in 1912 kicked all of the blacks out of federal government jobs.

It's not working. Your attempts at projecting what doesn't exist on the man, is failing miserably. His works are documented. The videos of him on this thread are genius. No one in journalism or heck, on any TV anywhere does a more complete job of justifying what they are claiming, than him.
What he did on his TV show thousands of times is exhibited beautifully here in Video one. He broadcast audio and video of the liars, then brought on Dr. Alveda King to inform us if her uncle believed any of the things we'd just seen and heard.
Glenn nails it, proves it, backs-up his comments and claims, and has done so for years.
If our younger generation in-total or super-majority ever views all of Beck's EVIDENCE the Marxist-Communists will be defeated.
What the left does beautifully is use a portion of Psychopolitics in which the person focuses the most on their strongest opponents, and "Sat Nite Live's" them repeatedly, getting folks to laugh and become embarassed for the target that the person or organization actually did something goofy or unusual. This is done until there is a perception of the person that the Psychopolitician has painted and hammered it home in the Media.
It worked with Palin and with Beck, except we have Beck here, let's call it my own evidence of him being so sane, smart, savvy, and Totally correct about what he and Alveda are reporting. It is that MLK was NOT a Marxist and "redistribution of wealth" was not at all any part of "The Dream."
The left hates him for being so dang good at exposing them for several years, on FOX. His paid team of researchers brought us things that, were they presented in a courtroom, a geniune one of unbiased Judge and jury, it would be impossible to fail to get a conviction on Obama, Union leaders, BO's CZARS and more of "Communist, Subversive, Marxist" and haters of our republic.
