All former governors, and former state senators, undergo two seperate investigations to determine elegibility for their seat. Once by their state and once by the US Congress. The final selection as to whom is placed on a National ballot is decided partly by populat vote and partly by the RNC or DNC. POTUS is declared by the Electoral College that may or may not consider popular vote.. .

It makes no difference whether Obama wins or loses. D.C. is not going to change its stripes without a viable third party. History is a snapshot in time that can not be rewritten.
The Historical fact is this. Obama is the first Bi-racial, Juris Doctor to embrace his blackness, as well as his white mother (who was born in Kansas), to sit in the Oval Office.
Obama is the first black POTUS who lives in the White House with the black FLOTUS and their little black children. This little fact chaps the racists and the KKK raw because they hate, and they can't change it. A 1000 years will not change American History, and neither will another white President with a history of poor judgement.
